Abide (2000-2002) was an exhibition of artwork produced collaboratively at the Goldsmith Press & Rare Type Collection by artists Peggy Bonnington, Jean Breuggenjohann, Karen Cole Edgin, Cynthia Marsh, and Marc Pewitt. Their print work was informed by research of Appalachian-inspired folk songs, bluegrass music, and the fundamental cultural forces (e.g. home, religion, isolation and labor) that engender it. ‘Abide’ was funded by the APSU Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts.
