What's Up ?
(2004-2005)
was a interdisciplinary after school program aimed at 11–15 year olds living in public assisted housing projects. Students and faculty from the Goldsmith Press worked with approximately 250 teenagers. Each participant wrote a personal inventory then design and printed a corresponding T-Shirt. What’s Up ? was a pilot program for the more comprehensive summer initiative, Listen Up ! ! the Goldsmith Press partnered with Montgomery County Public School System on this project. What’s Up? was funded by a Tennessee Arts Commission ‘At-Risk’ Community Grant.
